St. Pete Retreat!

Hey everyone!

St. Pete is planning their annual High School Spring Break Retreat and they want us to join them!
The dates are March 31-April 2 (Thursday-Saturday) and it's at the Lakewood retreat center. So mark your calendars!


The theme is Rad Faith ( Mission :Home, Church, World). The theme centers around Mark 10:45 and Phil 2. The main message is that we are called to live a life of mission which looks like serving others in home, church, and the world.
There is much application here as youths wrestle with questions like, "What on earth am I here for?" and as they see their calling before God, they can put feet to their faith NOW. The cost of being a disciple will be spoken of and a clear picture of the gospel will be displayed as we look at Christ's mission and how the gospel enables us to live now.
There will be 4 teaching sessions -
Mission :Home
Mission :Church
Mission :World
and lastly guys/girls breakout session called Rad Faith: Marriage Prep.

As you know, there are over 25 activities including boating, a swimming pool, activity center, ball courts and fields, mini golf, and a nature walk that the youth will have time to enjoy as well.

Cost is $40 total per person. [Pay at retreat center]
Everything is included except a tent and sleeping bag.
All meals from Thursday Dinner to Saturday Lunch are included.

Parents are highly encouraged to attend. (=
